Culture & Cocktails is our priemier event showcasing the various cultures of Africa and its Diaspora through music, dance storytelling and fashion. The purpose of the program is to educate our members about the African Diaspora's rich cultures and to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of our diverse roots by featuring artists from different regions in the Diaspora. For the past two years, Free has focused on writing and performing with her acoustic guitar. Her goal as an artist is to create, share and bring messages of love and unity to the world through music. She has performed at such venues as the Kennedy Center, Carter Barron, the 25th Annual African Street Festival in New York, and tribute to Dick Gregory. She has shared the stage with such notables as Run DMC, BB King, Stevie Wonder and Isaac Hayes.
