French Fashion Show Benefit for Dress For Success, May 27, 2010

The French Fashion Show benefit for Dress for Success will take place on May 27, 2010 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. The NMWA is located at 1250 New York Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20005-3910. Please see below a list of scheduled events for a night of  "Vintage Vogue" Fashion!

Program - French Fashion Show, Silent Auction and Raffle

 6:00 pm Doors open and cocktail reception begins.  Opening of the Silent Auction with beautifully-framed, limited edition lithographs by famous French painters, miniature bronze statues designed by Claudine Sorel, exotic rugs, one-of-a-kind handbags, hand-painted china and tablecloths, elegant lamps from France, a special salon offer from Dessange Tysons, a gift basket from Sephora . . .  and more!

6:30 pm French Fashion Show "Vintage to Vogue" designed and narrated by Elizabeth Gibbens of Bayou Muse. The show will feature outfits of French designer clothing sourced from DC boutiques, including well-known vingtage labels including Dior and up-and-coming designers such as Barbara Bui, Francoise Olivas, Claudie Pierlot and Fifi Chachnil.

And what's haute couture without fabulous French hair from internationally renowned Dessange Paris, the official beauty partner of the Cannes Film Festival. Dessange Paris Tysons Corner will showcase Dessange hairstyles that skyrocketed the brand to international fame more than 60 years ago. Dessange hair stylists will be available for consultations after the event. See for yourself why the most discerning women in France say, "My hair only wears Dessange."
